About the Logo
What began as a scribbled thought on a sticky note in 2022 quickly blossomed into a vibrant ideology framework dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their personal and professional goals.
Scribbled were simply two numbers vertically listed, 001 on top and 100 on bottom. Those who have fought countless battles of relapse, disappointment, and starting over can relate to a mental state that is worth “001”. With GLES and the positive support we provide, that sticky note turns around to reflect a 100 for the person in the mirror. Being “100” is a mindset every person deserves, can achieve, and can maintain for life.
A mystery that would take the next two years to solve was how to transform the 100-001 sticky note idea into a living, breathing logo. I mean how do you show a sticky note being turned around on a T-Shirt without a full explanation each time to strangers? Thankfully a leap of faith into the unknown world of marketing consulting led me to the brilliant, passionate, and kindhearted Jawansa Hall. Upon explanation of the idea, Jawansa’s creativity instantly took to the white board and drew the arrows you see today anchoring the logo design.
Unknowingly capturing symbolism that would result in happy tears, Jawansa was able to encapsulate one of the most powerful actions for an addict that signified in the arrows: Relapse. The road to recovery is full of relapse and setbacks, but in recognition of relapse, autonomous motivation, accountability, and guidance, anyone can reclaim that momentum and rise back to 100.
Color symbolizations reflect the arrow to “Grey” as we fall back into a 001 mindset with the arrow to “Blue” signifying health and wellness, fresh beginnings, and a new path back to 100.
The GLES logo represents the authentic and personal touch that sparked our mission of achieving personal transformation and symbolizes the dynamic and evolving nature of personal growth. We believe that setbacks are not failures but opportunities for growth.
